Tatra 75

The Tatra 75 was the successor of the middle class - type 54, the Tatra factory brought out in Nesselsdorf 1933.

The vehicle had a top -controlled, air-cooled four -cylinder boxer engine with only 1688 cc displacement and 30 hp ( 22 kW). The newly developed engine with light alloy cylinder heads operating on a single-plate dry clutch, a four-speed gearbox with floor shift and a propeller shaft in the central tube of the frame to the rear wheels. The new top speed of about 1200 kg car was at 90-100 km / h The chassis had a central tube, a front axle with two transverse leaf springs and a loose joint swing axle at the rear, also with a transverse leaf spring.
