Tatra 82

The Tatra 82 was a heavy, six-wheeled off-road vehicle, which was developed from the team car Tatra 72 and Tatra factory brought out in Nesselsdorf 1935.

The vehicle had an air-cooled four-cylinder OHC boxer engine with 2490 cc and 55 hp ( 40 kW). The car had three axles, the rear both were driven. His gear had 8 forward gears and one reverse gear. The new top speed of the 3150 kg heavy car was 65 km / h The chassis consisted of tubes, had a front axle with transverse leaf spring and swing axles at the center and rear, fitted with boom longitudinal leaf springs.

1939, the model with four cylinder engine with different structures was offered a short time as Tatra 93.

Parallel to the Tatra 93 Tatra was from 1937 to 1941 built 92 as the true successor to the Tatra 82. During the T93 was operated only on the rear axle, the T92 had four-wheel drive.
