Thousand-Islands-Nationalpark
The 9 km ² and founded in 1904, Thousand Islands National Park (French Parc national du Canada des Mille -Îles, english Thousand Islands National Park of Canada) is a Canadian National Park in the southeast of the province of Ontario in eastern Canada. It is the smallest of Canada's national parks.
It is located in the Thousand Islands region on the St. Lawrence River and comprises 21 islands.
By 2013, he was named St. Lawrence Islands National Park and was renamed on March 28, 2013, to reflect the natural space in the name.
