Tolga DoÄŸantez

Tolga Doğantez ( born February 22, 1975 in Izmir ) is a former Turkish football player. He is associated with the clubs Gençlerbirliği Ankara and Istanbul Beşiktaş. For Gençlerbirliği he played five seasons and was during this time Turkish Cup winner. Tolga Doğantez began with the club soccer in the youth teams of various amateur clubs of his hometown of Izmir. For the 1993/94 season he became seventeen equipped with an amateur contract to the then third division Akhisarspor. Here he made it quickly into the starting line- up and completed at end of season 21 league matches for the club. His club missed the end of the season in the league and had to let a part of his squad. So also Doğantez left the club and moved to second division Turgutluspor. Here he played only the first round and did it only four league games. For the second round, he was loaned out to third division Yeni Bornovaspor from Izmir. Here he established himself right away, so he moved to the end of the season, including transfer fee to Bornovaspor. For the summer of 1996, he moved within the league to Aliağa SK, another third division of the province of Izmir.

After a year at Aliağa he left the club and moved to the second to eastern Turkey Lig club Adiyamanspor. Here he fell to the talent hunters of the first division Gençlerbirliği Ankara and moved to the winter break to Brussels residents. National

Tolga Doğantez was nominated by then- coach Senol Güneş as part of a test match against the Dutch national team for the first time for the levy of the Turkish national team in February 2001 and was during this encounter his international debut later he was nominated two more times for the national team and graduated yet another encounter.

In 2002 and 2003 he played twice for the second selection of Turkey.
