Geography

Geographical location

Ubstadt- Weiher is located on the border between the Rhine plain and Kraichgau in the north of the district of Karlsruhe. Through the municipal area flows the Kraichbach (also called " the Kraich "), which the Katzbach receives here. On Stettfelder district shortly after the Katzbach mouth a channel called war Bach from Kraichbach is chopped off. Zeutern was first mentioned as Villa Ziuterna in the Lorsch codex, the entry can be dated to 769/770. Traffic

The Federal Highway 3 ( Buxtehude Weil am Rhein) links the city with the national road network. The nearest motorway slip roads on the Federal Highway 5 is only a few kilometers away.
