Ulianovka

Chertovka (Ukrainian and Russian Ульяновка ) is a city in the west of the Kirovohrad Oblast in Ukraine on both sides of the river Synjucha.

The village was founded in the 19th century as a settlement which was established in 1840 sugar mill in the area of ​​north-eastern village Hruschka. 1899 was the settlement with the station Hruschka in today's narrow gauge network Hajworon its own rail connection with a factory track to the sugar factory. 1924, the settlement was renamed in honor of Lenin (real name Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov ) in Chertovka and 1928 the center of the Rajons Danylowa Balka ( Данилова Балка ). 1938 was the place given the status of an urban-type settlement. Despite the renaming of Rajon was renamed on September 1, 1946 not in Rajon Chertovka but Rajon Hruschka and lay still until February 12, 1954 in the Odessa Oblast.
