United States Department of the Treasury

The Treasury of the United States of America (official United States Department of the Treasury ) is part of the Federal Government of the State and is responsible for the collection, management and distribution of public revenues. Organization and agendas

The Ministry of Finance is headed by the Secretary of the Treasury, whose term corresponds to the German Minister of Finance, and the Treasurer of the United States, which takes over as the role of Vice - Minister of Finance. It is divided into twelve departments ( bureaus ), which assume all fiscal tasks. These tasks include the tax, customs, monetary and economic policies that money production and supervision of compliance with the law. The Minister of Finance is the chief adviser to the president on economic issues and responsible for the national and international financial and tax policy of the United States. It monitors the finances of the federal government of the United States and the tax authorities. In his competence today is mainly the coinage.
