University of Prince Edward Island

The University of Prince Edward Iceland, short UPEI, is a state university of the province of Prince Edward Iceland in Canada. It was created in 1969 by an Act of the Provincial Parliament from the merger of the Prince of Wales College and St. Dunstan 's University. The campus of the University is located on the former site of St. Dunstan 's University in Charlottetown.
The UPEI has four faculties:
- Faculty of Arts
- Faculty of Education
- Faculty of Science
- Atlantic Veterinary College
Besides these faculties, the university also runs a School of Business ( Economics ) and a School of Nursing ( Nursing ).
