The community association Untermosel is an administrative unit in the form of a local authority in the district of Mayen -Koblenz in Rhineland- Palatinate. The municipality belong to 14 separate local communities, the administrative headquarters are in Kobern -Gondorf. It has around 18,000 inhabitants and was given its name because of its location on the Lower Moselle.

Community association Rhein-Mosel

On 1 July 2014, the municipality Untermosel will be merged with the municipality Rhens to the new community association Rhein-Mosel.
