Clouds is a municipality in the district of Mayen- Koblenz in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Untermosel, which has its headquarters in Kobern -Gondorf.

Geographical location

Clouds located west of Koblenz in a flat tray ( about 230 m above sea level) before the incision of the Bell Tales.


Clouds is first mentioned in a document of the Abbey Rommersdorf from the year 1162.

Clouds existed as original hamlet settlement initially of six or seven yards and a chapel ( 1599 St. Margaret ). The village belonged to the parish until 1806, until 1817 the court Kobern.
