History

Clouds is first mentioned in a document of the Abbey Rommersdorf from the year 1162.

Clouds existed as original hamlet settlement initially of six or seven yards and a chapel ( 1599 St. Margaret ). The village belonged to the parish until 1806, until 1817 the court Kobern.
