Acht
Eight is a municipality in the district of Mayen -Koblenz in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Vordereifel, which has its administrative headquarters in Mayen.
Geographical location
The place is located in the Eifel region in the valley of the eight Erbach and is part of the protected landscape area " Rhein- Ahr -Eifel ".
History
The writing testified history dates back to the year 1110.
On June 23, 2003 passed over the city, a tornado of F3 strength, which did not lead to death.
