Val Lumnezia

The Val Lumnezia ( Rätorom.; German Damphreux outdated, even Lungnez ) is a valley in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland and extends over a length of about 10 kilometers south of Ilanz from the southwest. Patron saint of the valley is the holy Mauritius.

Geography

The Val Lumnezia, the largest tributary of the Surselva, covers a total area of 382 km ². It is drained by the Glenner, which opens at Illanz in the Anterior Rhine. In the rear part of the valley Valsertal branches.
