Valent Sinković

Valent Sinković ( born August 2, 1988 in Zagreb) is a Croatian rower.

Sinković began in 2000 with the rowing. According to an eleventh place in the one at the Junior World Championships in 2004, he reached in 2005 to seventh place. A year later, at the Junior World Championships in 2006, he finished with Damir Martin in double sculls second place behind the Danish boat. In the U23 World Championships in 2007, he sat down with David Šain in the double sculls, rowed to fourth place. The World Rowing Championships 2007, the two rowed in the quadruple sculls, who finished 17th place. In 2008 he started with his younger brother Martin Sinković, the two won at the U23 World Championships, the silver medal behind the British boat; at the European Championships she came in fifth goal.

2009 Sinković brothers achieved in the first World Cup race in Banyoles third in the double sculls, Fourth became the second Croatian double sculls with Martin and Šain. For the second World Cup regatta in Munich, the two double sculls came together to form a double four and won the regatta. David Šain, Martin Sinković, Damir Martin and Valent Sinković were victorious in this line also in the U23 World Championships, at the World Rowing Championships 2009 rowed the Croats to fourth place.

2010 won the four Croats in all three World Cup regattas and at the U23 World Championships. After a second place behind the boat at the Polish Rowing Championships 2010, the Croats won at the World Rowing Championships in New Zealand in 2010 the title. 2011 occupied the Croats in the World Cup, the Seats 2, 1 and 5, at the World Rowing Championships 2011, the boat received the bronze medal behind the boats from Australia and Germany. 2012 won the Croatian sculls all three World Cup regattas, with the Olympic Games in London, he won the silver medal behind the German boat.

The World Rowing Championships 2013 in Chungju, he won gold, ahead of Germany and the United Kingdom.
