Veduggio con Colzano

Veduggio con Colzano is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 4450 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Monza and Brianza in Lombardy. The community is located about 16.5 kilometers north of Monza east of the Lambro at Parco della Valle del Lambro. Veduggio con Colzano directly borders the provinces of Como and Lecco. The Latin name of the place is Abetuculum.

Traffic

Through the community, the Strada Statale 36 del Lago di Como e dello Spluga leading from Milan coming to the lakes in the north and on to Splügenpass in Switzerland. Together with the neighboring community Renate is a station on the railway line Monza - Molteno.
