The Office Viöl is an office in the district of North Friesland Schleswig -Holstein. It has its headquarters in the homonymous municipality Viöl.

Official members of communities

History

1889, the District Viöl from the parish community Viöl country was formed in a circle Husum. This consisted of the 16 village communities Behrendorf, Bondelum, Boxlund, Brook, Eckstock, Haselund, Hoxtrup, Kragelund, Kollund, Löwenstedt, Norstedt, Ostenau, Pobüll, Sollwitt, Spinkebüll and Viöl.

1934 Kirchspielslandgemeinde community were dissolved and the village communities were autonomous rural communities. In the same year were Boxlund and Eckstock after Viöl, Brook and Kollund after Haselund, Kragelund after Hoxtrup, Ostenau after Löwenstedt, Pobüll incorporated to Sollwitt and Spinkebüll by Norstedt.

In 1948, the District was dissolved and the eight municipalities formed the parish community Viöl country, which changed its name in Office Viöl in the same year. With the formation of the district of North Friesland the Office 1970 was dissolved and the communities formed with the six municipalities of the Office Wester- Ohrstedt ( Ahrenviöl, Ahrenviölfeld, Hochviöl, Immenstedt, Easter Ohrstedt, Schwesing and Wester- Ohrstedt ) the Official Upper Arlau, which takes its name 1978 changed in the Official Viöl.

1976 Hochviöl and Hoxtrup were incorporated to Viöl.

Chief Administrator

For the election period 2013-2018 was Thomas Hansen, Mayor in Sollwitt, was elected Chief Administrator. He thus entered the successor of Hans Jes Hansen from Viöl that the Office had held 15 years.
