Waldenburg is a municipality and a nationally recognized resort in the district of Ravensburg in Baden- Württemberg ( Germany ).

The community forest castle, which is known by the same castle from the 12th century, is a member of Gemeindeverwaltungsverband Gullen based in Grünkraut.

Geography

Geographical location

The community forest castle is located on the southern edge of the Forest Altdorfer at approximately half the air line between Ravensburg in West - northwest and east- southeast cheeks.

History

Waldenburg is already being reported in the description of the Oberamts Ravensburg in 1836 as a community with 48 plots and 1163 (Catholic) population, but as " able Magnificent place " declared the Prince of Waldburg- Wolfegg - Waldsee belonging. Museums

The forest castle from the 12th century museum is the ancestral castle of the Steward and imperial princely family Waldenburg.
