Wallerfing lies in the Donau -Wald.

History

Wallerfing belonged to Rentamt Landshut and the district court Osterhofen of the Electorate of Bavaria. Wallerfing was the seat of a chairman shaft. Created in 1818 the current municipality. After the dissolution of the district Vilshofen it belongs since 1 July 1972 the district of Deggendorf. The municipality is a member of the administrative community Oberpöring since 1978.
