The Woodland Township is one of 12 townships in Carroll County in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Illinois.

Geography

The Woodland Township is located in northwestern Illinois and reaches up to 5 km closer to the east bank of the Mississippi River, which forms the border with Iowa. The border with Wisconsin is located about 40 km north.

The Woodland Township is located at 42 ° 09'09 " north latitude and 90 ° 02'50 " west longitude and extending over 94.84 km ². Within the township stems from the Plum River, which flows south of the near Savanna in the Mississippi River.
