The Rock Creek -Lima Township is one of 12 townships in Carroll County in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Illinois.

Geography

The Rock Creek -Lima Township is located north-west of Illinois 35 km east of the Mississippi River, which forms the border with Iowa. The border with Wisconsin is located about 55 km north.

The Rock Creek -Lima Township is located at 42 ° 04'14 " north latitude and 89 ° 46'14 " west longitude and extending over 139.9 km ².

The Rock Creek -Lima Township lies to the east of Carroll County on the border of Ogle County. Within the Carroll County, the Rock Creek -Lima Township is bordered on the southeast by the Elkhorn Grove Township, on the south by the Wysox Township, to the southwest by the Fairhaven Township, on the west by the Salem Township in the northwest of the Freedom Township and the north by the Cherry Grove -Shannon Township.

Traffic

From northwest to southeast of U.S. Highway 52 runs along a common path with the Illinois State Route 64, the entire Township. Thanks to the northwest of the township runs a railway line that runs from Chicago to the west.
