The Elkhorn Grove Township is one of 12 townships in Carroll County in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of Illinois.
Geography
The Elkhorn Grove Township is located in northwestern Illinois about 20 km north of the Rock River. The Mississippi River, which forms the border with Iowa, is about 40 km to the west. The border with Wisconsin is located about 70 km north.
The Elkhorn Grove Township is located at 41 ° 58'00 " north latitude and 89 ° 42'00 " west longitude and extending over 50.34 km ².
The Elkhorn Grove Township is located in the extreme southeast of Carroll County and borders within which the west by the Wysox Township and the north by the Rock Creek -Lima Township. In the East, Elkhorn Grove Township is adjacent to the Ogle and on the south by the Whiteside County.
Traffic
