Yangzhou (Chinese扬州 市/扬州 市, pinyin Yangzhou Shì ) is a prefecture -level city in the Chinese province of Jiangsu. It lies on the Yangtze River. Your administrative area has an area of ​​6591 km ² and nearly 4.5 million inhabitants (as at end 2010).

Yangzhou is located about 70 km from Nanjing Road. Previously it was a major hub for the salt trade. Sports
