Yannick Bertrand

Yannick Bertrand ( born August 18, 1980 in Thonon -les- Bains ) is a French alpine skier. He specializes in the speed disciplines Downhill and Super -G.

Biography

Bertrand drove his first FIS race in December 1995, operations in the European Cup was followed in December 1999. On 30 January 2003 he celebrated in the departure of Altenmarkt his first victory, in front of his best result was a twelfth place. Three weeks later he scored the 18th place in the downhill at the 2007 World Championships in Åre. In the 2007 /08 season was his best finish in eleventh place in the second departure from Kvitfjell, but in 2008 /09, he could no longer connect to past performance. He drove only once in the World Cup points ranks and had to start again increased in the European Cup. He often scored again with squares between rank 20 and rank 30 in the season 2009/10. Bertrand was able to increase significantly in the 2010/11 season, in which he in the departure of Lenzerheide, the first top-10 results reached sixth place in the departure of Chamonix and ninth in four years.
