2007–08 EHF Champions League
At the Champions League season 2007/ 08 was attended by 40 handball club teams, who had in the previous season in their home leagues qualify for the competition. It was the 49th staging of the EHF Champions League and the European Cup of Champions. The Cup games began on 29 August 2007, the second final match took place on May 11, 2008. Defending champion was the German club THW Kiel. In the final matches between THW Kiel and BM Ciudad Real Ciudad Real, the Spanish club won the day and was able to win for the second Champions League title.

Mode
Qualification: The qualification was played in a knockout system with return game. The winner of each game moved into the group stage. The outgoing team moved into the second round of the EHF Cup 07 /08.
Group Stage: There were eight groups of four teams. In a group, everyone plays against everyone a return match; the two best group reached the second group stage. The respective third party group moved into the second round of the EHF European Cup, a Cup Winners' Cup 2007/ 08.
Second group stage: There were four groups of four teams. In a group, everyone plays against everyone a return match; the best group reached the semi-finals.
Semi-finals: The semi-final was played in a knockout system with return game. The winner of each game moved into the final.
Final: The final was played in a knockout system with return game. The winner of the game was the winner of the EHF Champions League season 2007/08.

FC Barcelona were eligible as the Luxembourg Champion Handball Esch waived. Viborg HK was eligible, as the Greek champions AC Athens renounced. Qualified for the qualification were:
