Ingolsheim

Ingolsheim is a municipality and a street village with 286 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Bas- Rhin in Alsace region of France. The villagers Ingolsheimois or Ingelser call themselves. The settlement is connected by roads with the Department of Road D 263. The main industry is agriculture. Ingolsheim is involved in the biosphere reserve Palatinate Forest -Vosges du Nord and the Communauté de communes du Pays de Wissembourg.

History

In a document of King Otto II from the year 967 is mentioned in the description of the Weißenburger Mundat the Bach " Ingoldeshaha ." -

At the beginning of the Second World War, the villagers were evacuated to Bessines -sur -Gartempe.
