Trimbach (Bas-Rhin)

Trimbach is a commune with 526 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the canton Seltz in the department of Bas -Rhin in the Alsace region. The landscape in the lower Alsace is hilly, the village has nothing to do with the same name known wine domain, which is about 130 kilometers to the south.

Jewish Population

In 1796 a synagogue was built. It existed officially until 1865. Nowadays a street called Rue de la synagogue reminds them.

By 1930, the Rabbi of Soultz -sous -Forêts was responsible for Trimbach.
