SM U 114 was a diesel-electric submarine of the German Imperial Navy, which was used in the First World War.

Construction

U 114 was given on 5 May 1916 in order. The production of the hull took over the Bremer Vulkan shipyard in Vegesack. It was completed at the Germania shipyard in Kiel, where the boat was launched on 27 November 1917.

Inserts

U 114 was put into service on 19 June 1918 and assigned to the IV U- Flotilla in Emden and Borkum. First and only commander was Lieutenant Martin delusion (June 19, 1918 to November 11, 1918 ).

U 114 led during the First World War by a company. In this case, no ship was sunk or damaged.

Whereabouts

On November 26, 1918 U 114 was delivered to the Kingdom of Italy and scrapped in May 1919 in La Spezia.
