Commissioning

U 126 was given on 27 May 1916 in contract, expired on June 16, 1918 at Blohm & Voss in Hamburg from the stack and was put into service on October 7, 1918. The first and only German commander was Lieutenant Otto wishes.

U 126 led during the First World War by any company and therefore could sink or damage any ship.

Whereabouts

On November 22, 1918 U 126 was delivered to the United Kingdom. 1923 was scrapped in Upnor ( Borough of Medway, South of England ).
