... Baby One More Time (English for "... Baby One More Time " ) is the debut album by American pop singer Britney Spears, who so musically moves in pop, dance and Pop/Rock- area. It is with 14 million units sold, the best-selling debut album by a female artist that ever appeared in the U.S. and created the basis for its status as a superstar in the year of publication. The album was only Britney Spears could mean, but because of the success of the title track it was renamed due to the recognition factor finally after this. The album, with over 30 million copies sold of the 25 most successful albums of all time.

Publication

The album was first released as a promo cassette in January 1998 with five snippets of demo songs. The cassette had the same cover, which was also selected for the later single- booklet ... Baby One More Time. However, the Australian publication showed Spears praying in a white dress.

The above is the track list of the original U.S. version, but there are numerous other compilations for worldwide markets. In France, the album remained in the charts for 38 weeks and reached 4th place there, it has sold more than 545,000 copies and was awarded double platinum. In the UK, the album debuted at position 8, peaked at # 2 and stayed for a year on the charts and has been awarded three times with platinum.

Worldwide could be deducted from Spears' debut album over 28 million copies. This sales figure reached the artist so far with no other album, the follow-up album Oops! I Dit It Again could achieve similarly good sales figures.
