... Baby One More Time (English for "... Baby One More Time " ) is the debut album by American pop singer Britney Spears, who so musically moves in pop, dance and Pop/Rock- area. It is with 14 million units sold, the best-selling debut album by a female artist that ever appeared in the U.S. and created the basis for its status as a superstar in the year of publication. The album was only Britney Spears could mean, but because of the success of the title track it was renamed due to the recognition factor finally after this. The album, with over 30 million copies sold of the 25 most successful albums of all time.
Publication
The album was first released as a promo cassette in January 1998 with five snippets of demo songs. The cassette had the same cover, which was also selected for the later single- booklet ... Baby One More Time. However, the Australian publication showed Spears praying in a white dress.
Title list
The above is the track list of the original U.S. version, but there are numerous other compilations for worldwide markets. With the exception of the U.S. version of all of these publications was the song Deep inserted in ninth place in My Heart and appended as the song Track 13 I'll Never Stop Loving You. Correspondence to the Australian, Asian and Japanese markets Publications additionally contain the song Autumn Goodbye.
The Brazilian publication has yet to Davidson Ospina Radio Mix by ... Baby One More Time included, also include the Australian and the Japanese version, but like the Asian version additionally the Boy Wonder Radio Mix of the same song offer. The Asian version includes two CDs, the second CD contains among others, three remixed versions of ( You Drive Me) Crazy.
Reception
Although the reviews were not overwhelming, the album was a huge commercial success. It reached both in the USA and Canada went straight to number 1, and later in other countries. The album was 51 weeks in the top ten on the Billboard charts, 60 weeks supported in the top twenty, and two years on the Billboard 200, the album, its lyrics and music videos, the typical virgin image of Spears in the late 90s. The title track became a number - one hit in the United States, the other brought it to top 10 or top 20 hits. In the U.S., the album reached 14 times platinum status for more than 14 million copies. ... Baby One More Time is the best-selling album to Dato a teenager, both in the U.S. and worldwide. Spears also wrote music history because she was the first female artist simultaneously reached # 1 on the U.S. album as well as their single release.
In France, the album remained in the charts for 38 weeks and reached 4th place there, it has sold more than 545,000 copies and was awarded double platinum. In the UK, the album debuted at position 8, peaked at # 2 and stayed for a year on the charts and has been awarded three times with platinum.
Worldwide could be deducted from Spears' debut album over 28 million copies. This sales figure reached the artist so far with no other album, the follow-up album Oops! I Dit It Again could achieve similarly good sales figures.
