TT -F1 class
- In the TT -F1 class it comes to the triumphant return of the now 38 - year-old Brit Mike Hailwood at the Isle of Man. The Ducati rider prevails against his compatriots John Williams ( Honda) and Ian Richards ( Kawasaki ).
TT -F2 class
- In the TT -F2 - class Briton Alan Jackson Jr. on Honda defends his title. His countrymen Dave Mason and Neil Tuxworth, both also on Honda, the ranks occupy two and three.
