1997 European Aquatics Championships
The 23rd European Swimming Championships were held from 19 August to 24 August 1997, Sevilla and were held by the Ligue Européenne de Natation (LEN) holds.
The European Swimming Championships 1997 included competitions in swimming, arts and diving, synchronized swimming and open water swimming. The two water polo championships were last held in parallel to the European Swimming Championships.
