The Faroe Islands Football Championship 2004 was held in the first Deild said first Faroese league and overall was the 62nd season. It started on 21 April 2004 with the play of Skala ÍF against HB Tórshavn and ended on October 2, 2004.

National Cup

In the National Cup HB Tórshavn won 3-1 against NSÍ Runavík and thus achieved the double.

European Cup

2004/ 05 played HB Tórshavn as a champion of last year in qualifying for the Champions League against WIT Georgia Tbilisi ( Georgia). The first leg was lost with 0:5, but the return match was won 3-0, which meant the biggest victory of a Faroese team.

B36 Tórshavn played as cup winners of the previous year in the qualification for the UEFA Cup and retired there against Metalurgs Liepaja (Latvia ) with 1:3 and 1:8 from.

B68 Toftir also played in the qualification for the UEFA Cup and was eliminated against FK Ventspils (Latvia ) with 0:3 and 0:8.

NSÍ Runavík took part in the UEFA Intertoto Cup. The first leg in the first round at Esbjerg fB (Denmark ) has been lost with 1:3, the return in Runavík ended 0:4.
