2008–09 Bobsleigh World Cup

The Bob World Cup 2008/2009 began on November 29, 2008 in Winterberg and ended on 15 February 2009 at the U.S. Park City. The highlight of the season was the 59th Bobsleigh World Cup from February 16 to March 1, 2009 in Lake Placid.

The season was played in eight World Cup races parallel to the Skeleton World Cup 2008/2009. For because of heavy snowfall canceled race in Cesana substitute races were held in St. Moritz or Park City. The planned in Cortina d' Ampezzo races were postponed due to technical deficiencies after Koenigssee.
