2008–09 Israeli Premier League

The Ligat ha Al 2008/ 09 was the tenth season of the highest Israeli Football League under this name, and overall the 60th season. Since the league was increased in the following season to 16 teams, had only the table last stay in the league Leumit, the teams ranked one to five the second division rose directly.
