2008–09 SPHL season
The 2008/09 season was the fifth regular season of the Southern Professional Hockey League. The six teams completed in the regular season of 60 matches. The point of best team in the regular season were the Knoxville Ice Bears, which also for the third time won the President's Cup in the play- offs.

- The Jacksonville Barracudas stopped the game operation.
