Knoxville Ice Bears

The Knoxville Ice Bears are an American ice hockey team from Knoxville, Tennessee. The team plays since 2004 in the Southern Professional Hockey League.

History

The team was founded in 2002 as a franchise of the Atlantic Coast Hockey League. They replaced the Knoxville in Knoxville Speed ​​, which had competed from 1999 to 2002 in the United Hockey League.
