Bloomington Thunder

The Bloomington Blaze are an American ice hockey team from Bloomington, Illinois. The team plays since 2013 in the Southern Professional Hockey League.

History

The Bloomington PrairieThunder from the Central Hockey League introduced following the 2010/11 season playing mode one. The gap left by the team in the city, was then filled by the Bloomington Blaze, receptions for the 2011/12 season as an expansion team the game operating in the Central Hockey League. The team plays like the PrairieThunder at U.S. Cellular Coliseum. The name of the team was chosen by the fans themselves. As head coach of the new franchises, the Canadian Jason Christie was presented, who had led in the previous year PrairieThunder in the first playoff round. However, Christie was still before the season starts committed by the Ontario Reign of the ECHL and then replaced by Paul Gardner.

For the 2013/14 season the team was inducted into the Southern Professional Hockey League.
