Topeka Tarantulas
The Topeka Tarantulas were an American ice hockey team from Topeka, Kansas. The team played in the 2004/05 season in the Central Hockey League.
History
Indianapolis Ice in 2004 to Topeka, Kansas, relocated and renamed Topeka Tarantulas. In the only season of existence, the 2004/05 season, the team finished in fourth and last place thus the Northwest Division, which they missed the playoffs for the Miron Cup clearly. Under their coach, the Canadian Joe Coombs, they won only 16 of their 60 games and took a total of 37 points. Lack of success the game company was then adjusted by the responsible persons and the franchise dissolved after only one year.
