Rapid City Rush

Rapid City Rush is an American ice hockey team from Rapid City, South Dakota. The team plays since the 2008/ 09 season in the Central Hockey League.

History

The leaders of the Central Hockey League announced on 2 June 2007 that the city of Rapid City in South Dakota would receive an expansion franchise. This took at the beginning of the season 2008/ 09 on the game mode. In their first season the team finished third of four courses in the Northwest Division, which they missed with 53 points in 64 games, the playoffs for the Ray Miron President's Cup. In the 2009/10 season the team for the first time Miron President's Cup Ray won after the Allen Americans defeated in the finals in six games.
