2009–10 CHL season
The 2009/10 season was the 18th regular season of the Central Hockey League. The 15 teams completed in the regular season of 64 matches. The Central Hockey League was played in two Conferences. The point of best team in the regular season were the Odessa Jackalopes, while the Rapid City Rush for the first time Miron President's Cup Ray won in the play- offs.
Team changes
The following changes were made before the start of the season:
- The New Mexico Scorpions stopped the game operation.
- The Oklahoma City Blazers stopped the game operation.
- The Rocky Mountain Rage stopped the game operation.
- The Allen Americans were added as an expansion team in the league.
- The Missouri Mavericks were added as an expansion team in the league.
