Rocky Mountain Rage

The Rocky Mountain Rage was an American ice hockey team from Broomfield, Colorado. The team played from 2006 to 2009 in the Central Hockey League.

History

The Rocky Mountain Rage was founded in 2006 as a franchise of the Central Hockey League. After they missed the playoffs in each case to the Miron Cup in their first two seasons, they finished the season 2008/ 09 on the second place in the Northwest Division. However, in the subsequent playoffs they were knocked out in the first round, as they were subject to the Bossier - Shreveport Mudbugs in the best- of-three series with 1:2 victories. For the 2009/10 season, the organizers have withdrawn the franchise from the game mode of CHL, but it should return to that in the summer of 2010. Then the team but no longer took up the game mode.
