Dallas Freeze

The Dallas Freeze was an American ice hockey team from Dallas, Texas. The team played from 1992 to 1995 in the Central Hockey League.

History

The Dallas Freeze were established in 1992 as a franchise of the Central Hockey League. In its first season, the team reached the playoffs for the Miron Cup, where they just were subject in the first round in the best- of-seven series to the eventual champions Tulsa Oilers with 3:4 for the first time. In the 1993/94 season they failed in the first playoff round with the same result on the eventual champions Wichita Thunder. The 1994/95 season the Dallas Freeze finished in seventh and thus last place and missed the playoffs for the first time, after which the charge, the team withdrew from the match operation of the CHL and it disbanded after the season.
