2010–11 Israeli Premier League

The Ligat ha Al 2010/11 was the 12th season since its introduction under this name in 1999, and the 69th season of the highest Israeli league in men's football. It began on 21 August 2010 and ended on May 21, 2011.

Preliminary round

In the preliminary round, a double round between all 16 teams was played. Subsequently, the six bestplatziertesten clubs for the championship round in which besides the Israeli championship and the international launch sites were played qualified. The clubs in the squares 7-10 disputed placement games. The remaining six teams played in the relegation round against relegation to the second-class league Leumit.

Championship round

The clubs in the squares 1-6 after the first round played in the connection for the championship. The points obtained were halved from the 30 preliminary matches and rounded. Held between the six teams was a single round. The three clubs bestplatziertesten the preliminaries were doing a home game more than the other three. After finishing the round Maccabi Haifa was made as a Master.

Relegation round

The clubs in places 11-16 in the first round played in the port against relegation. The points obtained in the group stage were halved and rounded up. Between the eight teams a single round was held. The four bestplatziertesten clubs in the group stage were doing a home game more than the other four. After completion of the round, the teams rose to the ranks of 15 and 16 from the second-class league Leumit. These were the newly promoted Hapoel Ashkelon and Hapoel Ramat Gan. The third last team had to deliver against the third best team in the league Leumit relegation matches.
