2011–12 TFF First League
The TFF 1 Lig 2011/12 was the 49th season of the Turkish second-highest division in football the men. It began on 9 September 2011 and 13 May 2012 the 34th Round took place. On 27 May 2012, the season ends in 2011/12 with the relegation matches between the third - placed to six.
On 29 June 2011 it was decided by the Turkish Football Federation that Ankaraspor may take a year after the expulsion from the Bank Asya 1 Lig again. Thus was planned the 2011/12 season to perform with 19 teams, but before the draw of the game board Ankaraspor has withdrawn its participation.
Start of the season the club Güngören Belediyespor changed his name to Istanbul Güngörenspor.
