The Brazilian Grand Prix 2011 was held on 27 November at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace in São Paulo place and was the 19th and final race of the Formula 1 2011 season.

Background
After the Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi Sebastian Vettel led the drivers' championship with 119 points, ahead of Jenson Button with 129 points, ahead of Fernando Alonso. Red Bull -Renault resulted in the constructors' championship with 125 points ahead of McLaren -Mercedes with 254 points ahead of Ferrari. Vettel and Red Bull -Renault were prematurely laid as a world champion.
At the Grand Prix of Brazil presented Pirelli riders the tire compounds medium ( white) and soft (yellow), as well as for wet conditions Intermediates (light blue ) and Full - Wets (orange ) are available.
At the Grand Prix of Brazil used three designers for the last time its chassis name. Renault changed the chassis name to Lotus next season, the former Team Lotus Caterham and Marussia Virgin in.
With Michael Schumacher ( four times ), Felipe Massa (twice), Vettel and Mark Webber (once each ) were four former winners of this Grand Prix.
Massa started in this race for the 100th time for Ferrari.
Training
In the first free practice Mark Webber was the quickest driver in front of the McLaren of Button and Hamilton. In this training Romain Grosjean took the Renault of Vitaly Petrov, Nico Hülkenberg the Force India of Adrian Sutil, Jean- Éric Vergne Toro Rosso of Sebastien Buemi Luiz Razia the Lotus of Jarno Trulli and Jan Charouz the HRT of Vitantonio Liuzzi. For Charouz it was the first use of a Formula 1 weekend. In the second free practice Hamilton posted the fastest lap ahead of Vettel and Webber. In the third training Vettel took the lead ahead of Button and Webber.
Qualifying
In the first part of qualifying Button was the fastest rider. The Virgin, HRT and Lotus pilots and Pastor Maldonado retired from. In the second part of qualifying, Vettel took the lead. The Sauber and Toro Rosso pilots and Petrov, Rubens Barrichello and Paul di Resta dropped out. In the final segment Vettel set the fastest time and took the 15th pole position of the season. He set a new record. In the squares behind him followed by Webber and Button.
Race
Webber scored in this race his first win of the season ahead of Vettel and Button.
Vettel held the lead at the start, but the race had problems with his gear, which is why he could not keep behind Webber.
