The fourth stage of the Tour de France 2011 on July 5, led 172.5 km from Lorient to Mur-de -Bretagne. On the flat stage it was like at each stage of the Tour de France a sprint, and there was a mountain stage of the fourth category and at the end of a mountain stage of the third category. Race course
At the beginning of rainy weather Jérémy Roy launched a breakaway, which Gorka Izagirre, Imanol Erviti, Blel Kadri and Johnny Hoogerland joined that could together pull a gap of at times almost five minutes.
