2012 Vuelta a España

The 67th Vuelta a España was held from September 9, 2012 on 18 August 2012. She was a total of 3282 km long. It was won by the Spanish cyclist Alberto Contador.

The three-week Spanish tour consisted of 21 stages and was launched in Pamplona with a team time trial over 16.2 kilometers. There were a total of ten mountain stages, five mountain finishes and nine flat stages. In addition, an individual time trial over 40.0 kilometers of Cambados was discharged to Pontevedra. The UCI World Tour 2012 for scoring stage race ended on 9 September 2012 in Madrid.

Team

According to the rules of the UCI World Tour, the 18 ProTeam were entitled to attend and committed. Since the driver number for each team to nine and the total number of participants was limited to 200, the organizers invited four Professional Continental teams about wildcards.
