The 29seitige open letter by 138 Muslim scholars to the leaders of Christian churches was published in 2007 ( Festival of Breaking the Fast 1428 AH) on October 13 and is calling for dialogue about commonalities of religions. Because Islamic religious leaders and community leaders have come together for the first time different genres and countries, the initiative is considered a historical event.
