Aegviidu

Aegviidu ( German: Charlottenhof ) is a rural municipality in Harju County Estonia with an area of ​​11.97 km ². It has 856 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2010).

Aegviidu was first mentioned in documents in 1796. The construction of the railway line from Tallinn to Saint Petersburg and the establishment of a railway station in 1870, the community experienced an economic boom. Today, especially the untouched river and woodland attracts the 36 km long trail of Aegviidu after Liiapeksi nature lovers in the community.
