Kernu Parish
Kernu ( German: Kirna ) is a rural municipality in Harju County Estonia with an area of 174.7 km ². It has 1665 inhabitants (as of June 1, 2010).
In addition to the main town Sumio the municipality includes the villages Allika, Hingu, Kaasiku, Kabila, Kernu, Kibuna, Kirikla, Kohatu, Kustja, Laitse, Metsanurga, Mõnuste, Muusika, Pohla, Ruila and Vansi.
Particularly worth seeing are the estates of Laitse ( completed in 1892, now a hotel and restaurant), Kernu (built in 1637 ) and Ruila (already in 1241 first mentioned ).
