Andrej Babiš

Andrej Babiš ( born September 2, 1954 in Bratislava) is a living in the Czech Republic entrepreneurs, owners of the holding company Agrofert and politician of Slovak origin. He is, according to the news magazine Týden with 4 to 5 billion euros of the richest citizens of the country and founder and chairman of the party ANO 2011. Since January 29, 2014 he is Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the Czech Republic in the Cabinet Bohuslav Sobotka.

Life

His father Štefan Babiš worked in the Czechoslovak foreign trade and diplomat, why Babiš spent part of his childhood in Paris and Geneva. After graduating from high school in 1974 in Geneva Andrej Babiš studied until 1978 at the Faculty of Commerce University of Economics Bratislava and then worked for the Chemapol Bratislava. In 1978 he became a candidate in 1980 and member of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia (KSC ). 1985 Babiš was sent to the foreign trade company Petrimex to Morocco, from where he returned after the Velvet Revolution in 1991 to Prague.
